My first wedding at this beautiful venue was for Hannah and Joe whom I had met the year before during restrictions at a coffee shop in Cirencester.
When the day finally rolled around under a year later, we were massively lucky with the weather. Showers were forecast but the day turned out beautifully with another amazing sunset.
Hannah got ready at her parents home whilst Joe and his groomsmen readied at the onsite accommodation in Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
I'll always remember the kindness and hospitality of Hannah's parents after they ordered bacon sandwiches for everyone including myself and the makeup and hair team! That was the sweetest gesture and really set us up for the day. It was such a lovely morning full of laughter and I especially loved the Disney Stitch onesie one of the bridesmaids wore (I love Stitch!).
Joe and all the guests were waiting inside whilst Hannah arrived in her father's car, Sophie from 'Flowers at the Conservatory' had done an amazing job with the flower arch, bouquets, buttonholes (Joe misheard me say this on the day haha!) and vases filled with sunflowers along the aisle. It really set off the fairy light canopy above and backdrop behind the arch.
After a beautiful ceremony and confetti outside, the drinks reception was held on the lawn outside whilst the inside was turned around for the wedding breakfast. We first went through the group family photos and kept some of them slightly casual as you'll see below. I always think these are sometimes more authentic and show personalities than formal ones but I like to do a mix of both. I always say that your nan will like a nice formal one for her mantelpiece and it takes just seconds to do!
Joe, Hannah and I then went off for couples portraits in the amazing gardens that surround the barn before returning for the speeches then wedding breakfast.
Garden drinks and games followed before cutting the exquisite cake made by Hannah Culley and then followed the couples first dance. The evening rounded off for me with some nighttime portraits both inside and out and as you'll see - totally worth the effort of walking the gardens in the dark!
