A couple after my own heart with their love of dogs! So much so, they had all four of them there on the day for photos – hand on heart, I was in my element! More dogs at weddings please!!
Back at one of the closest venues to where I live (along with Eastington park and Owlpen manor) in Gloucestershire, Kingscote Barn never fails to disappoint with each wedding (and a huge shout out to the wedding coordinators there – such amazing stars all of them!)
The ceremony was held in the beautiful and ancient Kingscote Church with all the guests making their way over in a vintage bus. The bride arrived in a classic landrover to be greeted by all four of the couple's dogs. Each bridesmaid led one of their beloved pooches down the aisle and were so well-behaved throughout the ceremony. I couldn’t help but take photos of one of them holding his little head out of the pew looking at his pawrents!
Making their way back to the barn to enjoy the drinks and canapes, Jess, Ashley and I set off for a couple’s portrait session in the beautiful grounds which were in full bloom.
The blooms inside were equally as lovely and created again by close friend Lynne Jessett Floristry. Her creations are always so spectacular and romantic.
After food and speeches, guests mingled outside in the warm air before the cake cutting and dancing to music provided by a live band. Later on, we escaped to the driveway to dance in front of the setting sun. Pure romance isn't it?
