Sally and Roy chose the stunning Ettington Park Hotel for their wedding, located in Warwickshire for their micro wedding. This amazing Victorian Gothic building was home to the famous Shirley family and had their own church on the grounds – which is now a beautiful romantic ruin. To the side of the church adjoining the hotel is the Italian-looking orangery where the ceremony took place.
A gloriously hot and sunny day, I arrived at the suite where Sally was having her hair and make-up done by Leanne from Cotswold Hair and Makeup. When the final touches were done, the remaining guests made their way outside to the orangery for the ceremony accompanied by music from an all-female orchestra. I loved that the maid of honour was the couple's adorable Labrador who spectacularly inserted herself into the ceremony as she wanted to be near her pawrents!
When the intimate and emotional ceremony was over, guests enjoyed drinks on the lawn and mingled around the stunning ruins of the Norman church. After a round of family group photos, they enjoyed a candlelit wedding breakfast in a gothic yet romantically styled room inside the hotel whilst a harpist played.
After the meal and some guests departed, we went for a photo walk to take some lovely and relaxed photos inside and outside.
