I'll always remember this wedding... for just how lovely the bride, groom and their families were and for the fact I had the worst case of tonsillitis I think I've ever had in my life ha! I ploughed on and everyone could not have been nicer in making sure I was okay (big thanks to the catering crew for supplying with me caffeine as well!)
The legal ceremony was held in a local venue I know very well - Stroud Registry Office and a few days later they held the hand-fasting ceremony and reception at Conygree Farm near Cheltenham in the Cotswolds. The weather may not have been on our side for most of it but everyone was surrounded by bohemian splendor in a teepee (from Cotswolds Teepee's) that was wonderfully decorated with flowers, fairy lights, glass and paper decorations creating the most amazing festival look and atmosphere.
The clouds cleared long enough for us to grab the opportunity for confetti and some photos before ending the day with speeches, food, music and some of the most energetic dancing I've seen in a while!
This day really reminded me that no matter what the weather throws at you, the best weddings are always ones full of laughter, love, family and friends.
