My first time shooting a wedding at Owlpen Manor! Crazy as I’m about a ten-minute drive away from this beautiful venue in the Stroud Valleys, Gloucestershire.
Matt and Jemma had booked me during the pandemic lockdown, first meeting on zoom. We finally met when restrictions eased for their engagement photoshoot at Coaley Peak in the Cotswolds. We captured some gorgeous sunset portraits, which we were all thankful for as the April Wedding day was dry but overcast!
Jemma looked beautifully bohemian and ethereal in her white and blush gown with rich, autumnal florals by Lynne Jessett. The Bridesmaid each had a different dress to reflect their own personalities as well as a ‘bridesman’ who looked wonderful in his tweed suit.
The gardens reflected the beauty of the Gloucestershire Cotswolds perfectly, with its rolling hills, sheep in the distance and blossom on the trees.
The evening entertainment was a fantastic band that really got the party going with a repertoire of folk and fiddle songs. I highly recommend checking them out!
