How long do you stay for on my wedding day?

For as long as it takes to get some great pictures of your day! I don’t believe in set hours. Once-in-a-lifetime events such as your wedding can’t truly be captured within a set time limit. So if it’s a half-day package you’ve booked I’m there at least 30minutes before the ceremony start time and a full day I’m there when your hairdresser starts in the morning. I’ll stay until at least the first dance but I’m pretty well known for staying longer than that!

 

How many photos will I get?

It completely varies but on average a half-day has a minimum of 300+ and a full day a minimum of 500+. The majority of the time it’s a lot more than that!

 

When will I get my photos back?

I aim to get all photos onto your password protected online gallery 4 weeks after your wedding date. During the busier part of the season this may extend by a week or two but I’ve never let anyone wait more than 6 weeks. As soon as your gallery is online, I’ll pop a wooden USB & presentation box in the post to you.

 

Do I need to feed you?

Although it’s lovely to be provided with a meal (and gratefully received), you are absolutely not under any obligation to provide a meal for my second photographer or myself. We’ll eat when you and all of your guests have sat down to eat so we can refresh and recharge (and rehydrate!). We’re both packed-lunch pro’s ;)

 

Why do I need a second photographer?

I really do recommend having a second if you have more than 50 guests throughout the day. Mainly because as much as I like to think I can do everything, sadly I can only be in one place at one time. So whilst my focus is on you, my second can photo stalk your guests and get some great candid shots for your album. A second is also great for documenting the morning preparations on the groom/other partner’s side so their family don’t miss out on those extra photos and memories.

 

Can I buy prints?

Of course! Your online gallery handily has an inbuilt shop so you can order various sizes of prints but also canvasses and metal plates.

Can I buy an album?

Absolutely. I try and keep my costs as low as possible so you have the option to decide if you would like one later. They come in 3 sizes (8x8', 10x10" & 12x12") and you can choose from a variety of textures such as suede, velvet, leather or linen and also a variety of colours.

 

What is the booking process?

 The booking process involves a deposit fee of £150 to secure the date and a signed contract. I always encourage my couples to read through the contract first and ask any questions. From there, we’ll arrange to get together at the wedding venue and go through the days itinerary.

 

Will you travel for our wedding?

Of course! I operate all over the UK. I moved around a lot in my younger days so know many areas in the south pretty well. Longer distances over 60miles may incur an £85 travel fee.
