From Oxford and originally planning to wed abroad, they like many other couples this year had to slightly adapt their wedding plans to fit 2020. They chose the beautiful setting of Pukrup Hall near Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire for their wedding and I venue I know well from a previous wedding I photographed.
Restrictions meant the guest list was not what was originally planned but that didn't dampen the day at all. In fact, the weather proved pretty wild with a storm the day before and the end tail of it over their big day with some very strong winds and slight drizzle at times. Hairspray was definitely the order of the day!
The Bride made her own bouquet and centerpieces and looked simply stunning in her Reiss dress and Faith shoes. The groom's jacket was by Ted Baker, his shirt was by Charles Twyrhitt and the trousers were by Brookes Brothers.
How we met: Online dating! We'd both been single for a little while and been on a few pretty unsuccessful dates! Not a romantic story but it worked for us!
How Chris proposed: We were on holiday in the south of France and we'd gone hiking for the day. He waited until we found a secluded spot with a great view and popped the question. It was perfect - we just sat on a couple of rocks for ages, soaking in the moment.
Big thanks to the hotel staff were fantastic in making sure the day went safely and smoothly.
