Married during Covid restrictions, these two definitely prove that small weddings don't have to compromise on style and substance and these two have oodles of it!
Having first met them through the wonderful modern medium of Facebook, we soon met up once restrictions eased to scope out spots at their venue of Swindon Registry Office, which has a simply stunning undercover area outside, full of climbing plants that we were delighted to discover turned a riot of reds, golds and amber on their big day.
We were blessed with the most glorious autumnal sunshine after heavy rain the day before so we simply wanted to make use of the outdoor space at Cricklade House Hotel, which is on the edge of the Cotswolds.
The outside space has gorgeous lawns with mature trees and a large stone staircase with LED lights built-in. Behind the building is a stone folly (also lit) so we knew we had to take photos in these spots.
With the low sun through the trees and the Autumn colours, we managed to get some incredibly warm and natural images without being too 'posed'. It was an absolute joy to take these images. It was definitely one of those days when everything just comes together. In fact, we were completely lost in taking advantage of the scenic spots the tie completely over ran - It was definitely worth it!
