Here is another couple whose wedding plans were changed due to the pandemic of 2020. Chante and Daniel changed their original venue a few weeks after their original date (which was in lockdown) from Egypt Mill to Stroud Registry Office in Gloucestershire and then onto a restaurant for their wedding breakfast.
I'll always remember this day as I got there ridiculously early and ended up at another wedding! Cue laughter all round between myself and both families!
Regardless, they chose a gorgeous day weather-wise creating some beautiful backlit photos of the bride's veil and we had spectacular views over The Cotswolds hills. The building itself was at one point in its history, a schoolhouse so had high Victorian ceilings, letting in plenty of light. At the back is a small conservatory and gazebo with plenty of climbing plants for a bit of greenery in this town centre location.
The bride looked exquisite in her beautiful white dress, whilst the groomsmen chose natural Cotswolds colours for their suits.
I hadn't been to this registry office before (despite living just a few minutes away) and loved the hilltop location and the fact the sun warmed the Cotswold stone building.
I really hope I shall be back again there soon!
