This beautiful couple met at University in Birmingham before relocating to Indonesia. A trip back to the UK during the last year meant they have been trying to get married for a while but a certain pandemic threw a few spanners in the works! Thankfully they managed to get their day with a legal ceremony at the historic Hereford Registry Office, which features wood panelling and a white, ornate ceiling and large windows. The lights streaming into the room lit up their expressions and Mazaya's veil so beautifully!
We then went onto the light and airy Crumplebury Farm in the serene countryside of Herefordshire for an Islamic wedding ceremony ('Nikah'), which was held in the largest room downstairs, that featured floor to ceiling windows and simple white walls which worked so well together. In the middle of the room was also a huge 12ft Christmas tree.
Keeping the photo style as natural as possible, we were blessed with dry weather (despite rain for a number of days previously) and a gorgeous low sun so we could capture some stunning images at their December wedding. Mazaya's veil was simple made for sunlight!
A quick change of clothes later and with the sun setting, the reception was underway and we managed to sneak outside for some creative night time, couples portraits.
