A small, intimate ceremony in Somerset
I met Loren at a wedding fair at UWE in Bristol back in early March 2020. The wedding was to take place in June 2020 but of course, a certain global bug had other ideas! Once weddings were allowed to take place again, it was rescheduled for the latter half of July.
We met again in early July for their engagement shoot at Purton Hulks on the River Severn in Gloucestershire. Luckily (for us), the weather was a bit drizzly so other visitors were few and far between.
The marriage took place at Frome Town Hall and they had the special honour of being the first couple married there in over 46 years! The ceremony venue is gorgeous with white walls and grey and sage details with a mosaic hallway and a grand wooden staircase.
After the ceremony and photographs, a small dinner reception was held at the stunning Charlton House Hotel & Spa near Shepton Mallet. Built around 1810, it's truly a luxurious place for a wedding and a dream for any wedding photographer to photograph in come rain or shine.
Dogs at weddings!
If anyone knows me, they'll know how much I adore our little canine friends and aside from the Bride & Groom, their little Rolo was the star of the day. Look at how adorable he is with his floral collar!
