A July Wedding at Ellenborough Park near Cheltenham.
On what was probably one of the hottest days of the year, Steve and Ingrid's wedding took place at the simply stunning and historic venue of Ellenborough Park. Thankfully, there was an abundance of shade and the drinks were flowing as everyone made the most of the good weather by being outside. The air conditioning in the chapel was very welcome though!
The Bride wore a gown that she made herself, which she paired with delicate blush roses in her bouquet, all of which was set off perfectly by the warm Cotswolds stone of the buildings surrounding us. The Bridesmaids dresses also matched the blush theme and covered by small pearls and paired with small bouquets of white roses. The gent's theme was blue and brown brogues with delicate pink ties.
After an early afternoon ceremony, refreshments were served (and much welcome to everyone in the heat!) and we managed to get the group photos and couples portraits done in time for the Wedding Breakfast. After this and with truly stunning skies and with the temperature finally dropping slightly, we were able to wander around the grounds and take some couples portraits before the evening reception started.
One advantage of such a hot summer, was the spectacular sunsets as you'll see below. With such a great view, extending well over and beyond the famous racecourse, we managed to get some truly beautiful images.
